South Florida Sees 5 Percent Rise in Property Value

by Isaac Benmergui, Esq on October 1, 2012

The most recent Case-Shiller report shows a continuing upward trend in South Florida’s real estate value, the most recent being the strongest in six years, of 5 percent.

With the housing prices still trending down as late as last Fall, the significant increase demonstrates that South Florida’s housing market has experienced a strong rebound. Although the values continued to rise over the summer months, there has been a bit of a leveling off of values. Still, compared with other metropolitan areas throughout the country, South Florida’s real estate market has demonstrated the most substantial gains.
