Miami Condo Prices Up 36%

by Isaac Benmergui, Esq on November 12, 2012

If you’re thinking of buying a condo in Miami, better do so now before prices rise much further. From one year ago, prices surged 36.2 percent, according to the Miami Association of Realtors.

Condominium prices have been on the upswing for the past 15 months in the white sandy beach city. The median price of a condo in September was $150,000. Single-family homes also price 8.6 percent to $190,000. Despite a shortage of available properties, people are still finding homes and condos to buy.

It’s a seller’s market and if you’re thinking of upgrading or downgrading, now is a terrific time to put your home or condo on the market as you can almost count on a bidding war for your property.
