Miami Real Estate Rises in Third-Quarter

by Isaac Benmergui, Esq on November 29, 2012

Miami’s rebounding real estate market showed no signs of slowing down in the third quarter.  The median sales price for a single-family home in Miami-Dade was up 5.06 percent in the third quarter 2012 compared to the same time frame from a year ago. Quarter by quarter, prices were up 2.2 percent. Condominium prices fared even better with a gain of 28 percent year-over-year.

The number of sales rose too, by 0.61 percent annually on existing single-family homes and condos. Despite the very low numbers inventory wise, people are still managing to find available existing homes as the figures do not take into account new construction.
