Prudential Real Estate Buys Miami’s Sabadell Financial Center

MiamiPrudential Real Estate Investors has announced the acquisition of Sabadell Financial Center, a 30-story, Class-A office tower in Miami’s Brickell Financial District.

The Brickell area, known as “the Manhattan of the South,” is one of the largest financial centers in the southern United States with many international banks in the Miami area. Brickell contains a variety of public transportation links and numeours upscale retail shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.

Prudential purchased the site at 1111 Brickell, for $185 million from a Spanish real estate firm on April 12. Sabadell Financial Center is considered to be one of Miami’s most desirable office buildings, and Prudential plans additional capital investments in order to attract more multinational tenants while keeping the current tenants.
