Miami Heat Players Big Spenders on City’s Real Estate

MoneyMillion-dollar players buy million dollar homes and thanks to the Miami Heat’s players, the city’s real estate market is booming with high-dollar deals, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

Ohio native Lebron James traded in the wintery coast of Cleveland for his sunny   12,000-square-foot Coconut Grove property with six bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms on the bay for $9 million. Center Chris Bosh also purchased a12,000-square-foot property in Miami Beach for $12.5 million, and just down the street, starting point guard Dwyane Wade plunked down $10.65 million for a 13,000-square-foot waterfront property.

Heat President Pat Riley made out well when he sold his Gables Estate mansion for $16.75 million and bought a 6,200-square-foot penthouse at the Apogee building in Miami Beach for $11.75 million.
