Aerial skylineIt’s another first for Miami with a new hotel chain staking a claim in the South Florida market. Last week, Hyatt announced it would be building its first hotel in the booming Miami market, this week, the Kansas-based hotel company, Value Place, announced it would be building 15 new properties in the tri-county region and it’s investing $131 million to make it a successful venture.

Value Place is an extended-stay economy accommodation brand with 185 properties in 32 states. The first property in South Florida will be a 124-room hotel, which is set to begin construction in January. Over the next two to three years, the company plans to expand to 15 hotels in the region.
