South Florida Once Again a Baby Boomers’ Bargain for Retirement

by Isaac Benmergui, Esq on February 20, 2012

Baby boomers who had always longed to retire to the sunny shores of South Florida, but who had felt the home prices were a little too steep for their retirement budget, can once again rejoice that the dream of finding affordable Florida real estate is within their reach. In recent years, retirees had started to buy more homes in other southern states because the South Florida market had simply been overpriced and therefore, unattainable.

Real estate expert Trulia.com compiled a list of 10 best real estate market across the country and seven of them were located in Florida. Additionally Trulia also listed Key Biscayne as one of the “best kept secret” neighborhoods in the Miami area, for desirable neighborhoods.

No Florida housing market was names to the service’s “weakest demand” list, which is finally a bright spot in South Florida’s real estate woes.
