South Florida Real Estate Agents Say Home Market is Back

by Isaac Benmergui, Esq on February 27, 2012

The President of the Florida Realtors should know when the housing market is rebounding, and Summer Greene says it is. Agents are back to receiving multiple offers on properties, says Greene.

Although a shadow inventory of foreclosed homes could endanger the real estate market upswing, Greene says banks are being careful about not releasing too many properties at once which would drive prices down.

Real estate attorney Isaac Benmergui states “banks don’t want to risk a profit on foreclosed properties, so they’re holding back a bit hoping to see continued market improvement.” He also notes that short sales are on the upswing as people want to get away from underwater mortgages before foreclosure.

Attorney Benmergui is poised to help homeowners who need assistance with short sales and all other legal real estate needs; call 780-800-2510 or email for more information or to set up an appointment today.
