Healthy Hallandale Beach Real Estate Market

by Isaac Benmergui, Esq on February 29, 2012

One South Florida real estate market that seems to be doing quite well has another new condo proposal to consider. The developers of the Beachwalk tower, a proposed 84-unit condominium and 32-room hotel project want to build in what is possibly South Florida’s healthiest condominium market, Hallandale-Hollywood Beach. The area is close enough to all the attractions and shopping of a major city, but retains features that make it an oasis away from the hustle and bustle, notes real estate attorney Isaac Benmergui.

Out of the 5000 apartments constructed between 2003 and 2011, only four units remain unsold. Compare that to the more than 4000 unsold units in the surrounding submarkets of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Another nearby property, the 23-story Apogee Beach tower has already pre-sold all but eight of the 49 available units. The Beachwalk tower will be located along the Intercoastal Waterway.
