Miami’s Getting Pricier

Miami’s real estate market is setting its own trend with rising prices. The national trend for fourth quarter 2011 was a 3.8 percent decrease across the board, but Miami saw gains of 0.2 percent in December and only a 0.5 decrease from October to November. The only other hardest hit area in the real estate bust that improved was Phoenix at 0.8 percent.

Miami Real Estates Agents Seeing an Upward Trend

Although the gain may seem small, it is a positive step toward a turnaround for Miami, thinks experience real estate attorney Isaac Benmergui. Realtors are seeing the gains as positive for business. Lisa Mendez of the Miami association of Realtors says she’s having a tough time finding homes for all the buyers looking for homes in the Miami area.
